สมาคมระบบกล้องวงจรปิดอัจฉริยะไทย (iCA) โดย ศ.ดร.มงคล เอกปัญญาพงศ์ นายกสมาคม, คุณสร้างรัฐ หัตถวงษ์ อุปนายกสมาคม และ คุณธาริน ตันติมูรธา กรรมการสมาคม ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจาก

สถาบันวิจัยเพื่อพัฒนาธุรกิจการค้าไต้หวัน หรือ Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานจากภาครัฐของไต้หวัน เข้าพบเพื่อหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือด้านเทคโนโลยีและการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรม Smart Security ในประเทศไทย

การหารือครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ Wow! Taiwan Project ซึ่งมีเป้าหมายในการส่งเสริมการส่งออกเทคโนโลยีจากไต้หวัน เพื่อนำมาใช้ในโครงการของอุตสาหกรรม Smart Security ในประเทศไทย มีเป้านำร่องให้เกิดมูลค่าการหมุนเวียนทางธุรกิจประมาณ 1,000,000 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ (ประมาณ 33 ล้านบาท)

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่

1. Edge AI ซึ่งเป็นแนวโน้ม (Trend) ในการนำมาใช้กับ Smart Security (หรือเรามักจะเรียก AI Box) ช่วยลด Latency ลดความต้องการ Bandwidth และเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการประมวลผล
2. การมีส่วนร่วมกับภาครัฐ
3. ปัญหาและอุปสรรคในด้านเทคนิคของ AI Video Analytics เมื่อนำมาใช้จริง
4. วิธีการประเมินระดับเทคโนโลยีของบริษัทต่างชาติ และการออกใบรับรอง
5. การจัด Technology Forum เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ระหว่างไทยและไต้หวัน
6. ศักยภาพของไต้หวันที่มีความโดดเด่นในด้าน AI Algorithms โดยเฉพาะการตรวจจับและการป้องกันภัยพิบัติ จึงมองหาพันธมิตรที่จะร่วมกันพัฒนาโซลูชัน

ทั้งนี้ สมาคม iCA และ CDRI จะร่วมกันทำ Business Matching กับผู้ประกอบการระหว่างไต้หวันและไทย เพื่อเชื่อมโยงและส่งเสริมให้เกิดความเข้าใจ ตลอดจนตอบโจทย์ความต้องการในอุตสาหกรรม Smart Security ซึ่งเป็นส่วนสำคัญในโครงการ Smart City ได้อย่างมั่นคง ปลอดภัย และยั่งยืน

iCA Partners with CDRI Taiwan to Advance Smart Security, Driving Toward a Sustainable Smart City

The Thai Intelligent CCTV Association (iCA), led by Prof. Dr. Mongkol Ekpanyapong, President of the Association, Mr. Srangrath Hatthawong, Vice President, and Mr. Tharin Tuntimoolta, Board Member, welcomed a delegation from the Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI), a government-affiliated organization of Taiwan, for a discussion on potential collaboration in technology and the development of the Smart Security industry in Thailand.

The Taiwanese delegation included:

This meeting was part of the Wow! Taiwan Project, which aims to promote the export of Taiwanese technologies for application in Thailand’s Smart Security industry. The initiative sets a pilot target of approximately USD 1,000,000 (around THB 33 million) in business circulation.

Both parties exchanged insights on key topics, including:

1. Edge AI as a growing trend in Smart Security (commonly referred to as AI Box), helping reduce latency, lower bandwidth requirements, and enhance processing efficiency
2. Public sector engagement and collaboration
3. Technical challenges and limitations of AI Video Analytics in real-world applications
4. Methods for evaluating technology standards of foreign companies and certification processes
5. Organizing Technology Forums to share knowledge and experiences between Thailand and Taiwan
6. Taiwan’s strengths in AI algorithms, particularly in detection and disaster prevention, and the search for strategic partners to co-develop innovative solutions

Furthermore, iCA and CDRI will jointly conduct Business Matching activities between Taiwanese and Thai enterprises to strengthen connections, enhance mutual understanding, and address industry needs in Smart Security—an essential component of developing a secure, resilient, and sustainable Smart City.
